- Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimph
You're probably also wondering about the differences in read alouds. TL is the only boy and could use a little one on one time. Plus, I don't want him being bored with books I read to the girls and the girls not enjoy what I'm reading to TL. And, as I stated, he's the only boy and is interested in totally different things.

I saw your post the other day, but had the jawbreaker in hand. I like to see someone else planning ahead, I don't feel like such a loner. I usually start in February which drives my children crazy.
ReplyDeleteWe will be using Abeka lit. along with reading "To Kill a Mockingbird", "The Hobbit", and possible "Kidnapped". They didn't care for the movie "Kidnapped". So I might change that to something they don't have preconceived thoughts about it.
I received the individual weekly lesson planning books yesterday from ELAN Company. Reasonably priced. I'm ready to lay the year out in writing.
I looooooooooooooooove the Besty books! My mom read the whole series to my sister and I when we were little.
