Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog!!
I needed something easier to manage, and well, quite frankly idiot proof. I needed assistance in adding things to my blog that I just couldn't do with homeschoolblogger. I will still be checking on those friends and I hope that they will continue to follow me on my new space!
For any new friends, I will be having our fifth child, another girl, next week. We are looking forward to our new bundle of joy.
I have been working hard on our lesson plans for the upcoming year, so that I don't have to do any planning after the baby's born. I have just finished and am currently working on completing the school room.
We just moved from Japan to WA and are enjoying it here immensely-especially since there were two large earthquakes in Japan the last few days!
I'm off to clean up the house!! Blessings to all!

  1. Congratulations on your upcoming blessing!
I found your blog while surfing around homeschoolblogger. I, too, used to blog there and made the switch a couple of years ago. I hope you find it easier to manage. If you need any help, I'd be glad to lend a hand.
I enjoyed looking around your blog.
Oh, we, too, are a military family. ;o)

    Enjoy your week!

  2. Michelle, LOVE the blog profile photo. WA is so beautiful when it's not raining ;)
I too have just started Lydia and Justin back to reading, writing and math before school begin on the 31st of August. We've been reading a book called, "Blade" it's quite interesting. It's about a 14 year old boy who has to join a canoe team to deliver goods from one side of Canada to the other and it's all during the year of 1800. A good and interesting read for Trey.
    Blessing to you friend,
    Lesley

  3. Thanks for sending me the link to your new blog. The internet has made the world a much smaller place! It's so great to be able to keep in touch with friends who have moved just too dang far away! But at least us Iowa-lifers get the chance to experience the world vicariously!
Good luck next week! Can't wait to see pics of the newest Subbert!
    Hugs,
    Jennifer

  6. Michelle, I have been reading your blog for a LONG time now and just subbed to the new one thru Bloglines.
I haven't blogged at HSB since Feb! I've considered giving up blogging but perhaps I just need a new home as well.
